The Making of "Timeless" | Silverton Mountain - Warren Miller
It’s an annual season kick-off tradition for skiers and riders to come together and get inspired by the sports top athletes. Warren Miller Entertainment put’s together a drool-worthy feast for the eyes showing off epic winter locales and demonstrating the progression of the sport from the last season. Right as the snowflakes begin to fall in the United States Mountain West the film tour takes on city after city.
Silverton, Colorado is no stranger to Warren Miller or his film series. We’ve been featured in prior editions including Children of Winter (2008) and Line of Descent (2017).

Silverton Mountain is a uniquely lift-served backcountry experience. There is no other “resort” quite like it. The lodge is a permanent tent where adventurers can unwind with a frosty beverage to discuss the lines of the day. Watching the film may not give you the whole image of what a day at Silverton Mountain is like, but it is as close as you can come without requiring an avalanche beacon and shovel.
